Welcome to Electa Quinney Elementary School. Home of the Quinney Cougars!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our school’s website. As the school principal, I take great pride and enthusiasm in welcoming our families and friends to the Quinney Elementary Community. I am honored to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.

At Quinney we feel that elementary school should be a memorable and positive learning experience for you and your children and we achieve that success by maintaining a structured learning environment and building a strong sense of community. We welcome each school year with a school community theme which we integrate throughout our year in learning the Common Core State Standards in English and Language Arts and Math while showing our skills in our ABC’s of Acting Respectful, Being Responsible and Coming Ready to Learn! We want families to make sure to watch our school calendars for two great Quinney family events scheduled each year in the fall and winter/spring.

So many great things are possible due to you, our parents; you are the most critical part of our school success. Your support provides the foundation for learning in your active part of your child’s education by making sure they get to school on time and attend school regularly. Thank you! I strongly encourage you to consider the many school opportunities for you to get involved with such as our Parent Advisory Committee and in/out of school volunteering. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty-five years. I relish the time I spent with students in KASD at Quinney and prior years at Nicolet Elementary School, Park Elementary School, and River View School. Kaukauna has truly become HOME since moving into the community after teaching in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I met my husband here and we now have three wonderful children all who attend the Kaukauna Area School District. I cannot tell you how proud I am to be a Quinney Cougar and Kaukauna Ghost! If you are considering moving into the area, I feel very certain you will be pleased with the educational opportunities we offer our students. As a parent, you will find your child’s teachers are your best resource and I encourage you to build a positive partnership with them.
